Connect DocuSign to send a Solvimon quote out for e-signature through DocuSign’s own envelope flow, instead of Solvimon’s native signature request.

Why this matters

Sent natively, a quote version’s recipients are set in Solvimon and tracked through Solvimon’s own signature request. Connecting DocuSign lets the same quote go out through DocuSign’s envelope instead, so signers who already work out of a DocuSign inbox (procurement, legal) sign there directly, and additional signers can be added within the DocuSign envelope itself rather than needing to be predefined on the quote in Solvimon.

How it works

  • Build the quote the same way regardless of channel: pricing plan, schedules, discounts, commitments, and (if applicable) custom pricing, as described in Quotes.
  • At the send step, pick the signing channel: Native or DocuSign.
  • Sent via DocuSign, the quote version still moves through Solvimon’s usual quote version statuses (SEND → SIGNATURE_REQUESTED → SIGNED → ACCEPTED); the DocuSign envelope drives the SIGNATURE_REQUESTED/SIGNED transitions instead of Solvimon’s own signature request. Once signed, Solvimon activates the subscription, generates invoices, and enables entitlements the same way it does for a natively-signed quote.
  • Adding a signer via DocuSign: instead of adding every recipient to the quote version in Solvimon before sending, you can add or adjust signers directly in the DocuSign envelope. This is useful when the actual signer isn’t known yet at send time, or when the recipient needs to route the envelope internally before it’s signed.

Implementation

Via Desk

Connect DocuSign from Settings → Integrations → Add integration, and authenticate with your DocuSign account. Once the integration is active, DocuSign appears as a channel option when sending a quote version.

This integration doesn’t have a public API surface yet: connect and use it via Desk. Contact your Solvimon representative if you need to trigger a DocuSign-signed quote programmatically.

Notes

  • Quote version statuses are the same regardless of channel. What differs is where recipients are managed: predefined on the quote in Solvimon for the native channel, or added within the DocuSign envelope itself for the DocuSign channel.
  • Being in private beta, availability depends on your account; confirm with your Solvimon representative before relying on it for a live deal.
