In subscription combining, child customers, such as sub-brands or sub-accounts of a larger parent company, are billed individually, while the parent company negotiates the pricing.

This setup allows for volume pooling across multiple customers, but each child entity receives its own invoice based on individual usage and the negotiated pricing plan

Invoicing in subscription combining

In this setup, a parent entity negotiates pricing, while its child accounts have their own subscriptions and volumes, each billed individually.

A pricing plan subscription group is created to link subscriptions. When an event occurs for a child account, its volume is added to all subscriptions within the group.

This pooling impacts tiered & top-tiered pricing, where tiers are defined at the parent entity level, determining unit prices based on aggregated volumes.

For flat fee pricing, invoicing remains unaffected. Each child entity is billed according to the agreed flat fee.
