Solvimon supports single sign-on (SSO) using Microsoft Entra ID. To enable this feature, you will need to set up a new App Registration in your Entra ID tenant.

Setup Instructions

Follow the steps below to configure Solvimon with Entra ID:

  1. Log in to your Microsoft Entra Admin Center.
  2. Navigate to Identity → Applications → App registrations.
  3. Click New registration and configure the following details:
    • Name: Choose an application name (e.g., Solvimon Entra Integration).
    • Supported account types: Select according to your organization’s needs (usually Accounts in this organizational directory only).
    • Redirect URI: Contact the Solvimon Support Team to receive the correct redirect URI.
  4. Once created, navigate to your new app registration and gather the following information:
    • Application (client) ID
    • Directory (tenant) ID
    • Client secret (create a new one under Certificates & secrets)
    • Issuer (authority) URL (usually in the format: https://login.microsoftonline.com/{tenantId}/v2.0)
  5. Share the above details with Solvimon so we can finalize the Entra setup.

Self-Service Flow

Solvimon can provide a secure Self-Service URL that includes step-by-step instructions, a place to submit your Client ID, Client Secret, and Issuer URI, and the ability to test the connection immediately.

Reach out to the Support Team or your Customer Success Manager to request a secure Entra Self-Service URL.

Once the self-service flow is completed, inform the Solvimon team.

Sign-In Experience

After the Entra setup is finalized, users can log in to Solvimon Desk as follows:

  1. Go to the Log In screen.
  2. Click on the Sign in with SSO button.
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. Select the Entra ID option.

You will be redirected to the Microsoft sign-in screen. Once you enter your credentials, you’ll be redirected back to Solvimon Desk.

If you prefer, Solvimon can disable the default username and password login functionality, so users can only sign in via Entra ID. Contact our Support Team to enable this option.

The email address used to log in with Entra ID must match the one registered for the user in Solvimon Desk.

☑️ To de-activate users, please contact Solvimon Support
