Import data into Solvimon from external sources, either via file upload or through direct integrations with usage metering platforms.

Why use data imports

Not all usage data arrives through a real-time API integration. Data imports cover the two most common cases:

You have usage data in bulk. Event file uploads let you ingest usage events from files: backfilling historical usage during a migration, submitting periodic batch exports from your BI system, or catching up after an outage. The same validation applies as with API ingestion.
Your metering already lives in Metronome. The Metronome integration imports your existing Billable Metrics as Solvimon meters, including values, calculations, and properties derived from group keys, so you don’t rebuild your metering setup by hand.
