It is possible to combine more options within a pricing plan itself, thus needing less unique pricing plan templates. An example use case is a Platform fee that can be billed in different frequencies, or multiple types of platform fees while the usage pricing is the same. \ ### Example: three different levels of platform fees ![](/_fern-img/e2dd0fc3d6944fa824d76a5354e7846f93c1805eb0c8f2c6e4dd498e94c7bd6b.webp) --- ## Creating a pricing group A pricing group has a a few parameters that define it's characteristics. There is a `Group type` that can be either Default or Add-on and `Group options` that can be either Single select or Multi select. The **single select** option means that there can only be one choice. In case of the 'Default' pricing type, the user must choose one pricing to be applied within a subscription. When the pricing group is configured to be **multi select**, it will allow the user to select one or multiple pricings. Additionally, if the group is an add-on, the user does not have to choose a pricing at all. \ ![Single select pricing group](/_fern-img/8161143bdca2d9686a14f20e813f56f86c0a77577a6f9fead6a842530b81fc6c.webp) Single select pricing group \ --- ## Pricing group add-ons Solvimon also allows you to configure pricing groups as an add-on. With this setting activated, the person configuring the subscription can either select: * none * one (single select) * or multiple (multi select) pricing from the group \ ![Multi-select pricing group](/_fern-img/6d6eb5ef09f536fbf07cf3ecb63c9fc50fa0d9d073c92161f61d178b4bd37a2b.webp) Multi-select pricing group --- ## Customizing pricing groups It is also possible to customize pricing for the selected pricing within a pricing group. There are no differences in the way it works compared to normal pricings. \ ![](/_fern-img/9461fb87e769db52f63d2007249b1a2b97d5ef57bad039c58c2d4e2ff6dee137.webp) --- ## Pricing category order A pricing plan version has up to four pricing categories. "Change pricing order" sets a custom `display_order` on them. > **Note** > > An explicit order has to cover every category on the version. Adding a pricing group that brings a new product category no longer breaks this: Desk assigns that category a display order automatically, so the order stays complete. ---
