## Before you start

Take 5 minutes to read [How Solvimon works](/platform-guides/getting-started/how-solvimon-works). It explains the building blocks (meters, events, products, pricing plans, subscriptions, invoices) and why setup follows the order below.

Solvimon has multiple interfaces; every step here can be done through any of them:
