# write_documents

**Live server:** test server (`test.mcp.solvimon.com`) only.

Uploads, attaches, detaches and deletes documents.

**Actions:** `upload`, `attach`, `detach`, `delete`

* File types: PDF, HTML, Markdown, JSON, PPTX and POTX, up to 10 MiB (25 MB for PPTX/POTX). Through MCP, a request above about 4 MiB is refused, so attach large files in Desk.
* Documents attach to quote versions and subscriptions. A quote version's files change only while it is DRAFT.
* `delete` is confirm-first, and refused while an active quote template still uses the document. `detach` keeps the document.
