# get_settings

**Live server:** available on `mcp.solvimon.com` as well as on the test server.

Read-only view of how the platform is configured. It returns an allowlist of settings, never credentials, PSP references or branding images. Settings can't be written through MCP.

**`section`:** `all` (default: `invoice`, `subscription_defaults`, `quote`, `reprocessing`, `processing`, `platform`), or one of those, or one of `processing_status`, `currencies`, `entitlements`, `tax_id_types`, `file_processing`, `custom_fields`.

* Invoice numbering comes with an example such as `INV-2026-10-000001`. Periods are also given in words, such as the grace period before a DRAFT invoice becomes FINAL.
* `processing_status` shows how far usage processing has got (for example "2 h 30 min behind"). Check it first when usage is missing from an invoice.
* `custom_fields` lists the custom field definitions per object. Fields owned by an integration are marked `system_field: true`.
