# get_reports

**Live server:** available on `mcp.solvimon.com` as well as on the test server.

Reads and generates the CSV and Parquet reports that finance and data teams use. `generate` is available on live too, because it only creates a report request.

**Actions:** `list`, `get`, `search`, `download_url`, `generate`

**Resource types:** `report_definitions`, `report_configurations`, `report_subscriptions`, `reports`, `generate_requests`

* `generate` waits about 20 seconds, then returns a short-lived download link, or a request id to check later.
* Date ranges filter on the billing period. A whole month ends on the 1st of the next month.
* "Did last night's export run?" is answered from `reports`; there is no need to generate again.
