# get_agent_context

Reads the agent guidance stored on a resource: why it exists, who it is for, and constraints to respect. Returns only the resource's identity fields, its description and `agent_context`. Use it when you choose which plan, product or quote template fits a request, and before you write new guidance.

**Resource types:** `quote_templates`, `pricing_plans`, `products`, `product_items`
